Farming Techniques

  • Farmers aim to increase the efficiency of energy to biomass.
  • This is done by reducing energy transferred from animals to environment by:
    • Raising in cages so there is less movement
    • Kept is areas of high temperature to recue energy on controlling body temperature

Sustainable Fisheries

  • Some fish are being caught faster than they reproduce so the population decreases.
  • To avoid this restrictions are put in place
    • Net sizes increased so smaller fish are not caught
